A New Vision for Norwich Nelson, Norwich

Studio Sustancia created an identity and materials for the public consultation on Norwich Nelson, capturing the dynamic spirit of this evolving urban centre.

The project aims to transform the Premier Inn site into a vibrant new district, incorporating feedback from community consultations to enrich local economic offerings through mixed-use facilities.

For Norwich Nelson, we crafted a unique visual identity, integrating custom illustrations and iconography to reflect the brand’s values and vision. The design embraces Norwich’s vibrant heritage and dynamic future, using colours and shapes that represent the city’s evolution and its cultural richness as well as the diverse spaces that the development will offer.

A new high-quality urban district featuring hotel, student, and residential accommodations, complemented by a variety of commercial spaces including offices, cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Our work for Whitbread shows how a project's vision can be enhanced with illustrations, iconography and different graphic elements. This approach not only creates a strong yet friendly personality but also reinforces both the content and visual objectives of the brand and its message.
